Valshonda Johnson

Valshonda Johnson is from Darlington, SC. She studied at Northeastern Technical College in Cheraw, SC and then finished at Florence Darlington Technical College. Valshonda has been certified as a Nurse Assistant since 2018. She has held a variety of jobs: an administrative assistant at a technical college, assistant in behavioral management in public schools, and has worked in the medical field for the last 6 years (working in hospitals, psychiatric homes, and nursing homes).

Valshonda is very excited about having the opportunity to bring her experience, passion and dedication for excellence to the team at APMH. She enjoys helping patients of all ages find strategies to cope with daily living.

Outside of work, Valshonda is a mother of 3 teenage boys with an upcoming 2025 graduate. They enjoy vacations, outings and gatherings with family and friends. In her free time, Valshonda like to listen to audio books, do puzzles, or spend time entertaining kids that may need a little more attention at times.
