Karris plays a vital role helping ensure patients receive seamless, compassionate care through her work in office support and insurance verification. A 2022 graduate of North Myrtle Beach High School, she brings a strong combination of professionalism and genuine care to every patient interaction.

With experience working with insurance verification and patient benefits, Karris helps patients better understand their coverage while supporting the administrative processes necessary to keep their care moving forward.

Prior to dedicating her focus to healthcare, Karris was the owner of a luxury consignment boutique in Ocean Isle Beach. Her experience as a business owner strengthened her skills in customer service, communication, organization, problem-solving, and day-to-day business operations. Managing a boutique also taught her the importance of building trust, listening to individual needs, and creating a positive experience for every person she serves—qualities that translate naturally into her role at Advanced Practice.

Karris is especially passionate about advocating for vulnerable populations, including children in foster care. She approaches her work with empathy and understands that navigating healthcare and insurance can sometimes feel overwhelming for patients and families.

Whether she is verifying insurance benefits, assisting patients with administrative needs, solving a behind-the-scenes issue, or helping someone better understand the next step in their care, Karris brings patience, dedication, and professionalism to her role. She is committed to supporting the Advanced Practice team and helping create a welcoming, organized, and patient-centered experience from the very first interaction.
