Ashley Harrell

Ashley Harrell is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who started working with the practice October 2021. She began her education at Francis Marion University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology (2007), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2009), and a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner (2015). She then completed her psychiatry certification at Johns Hopkins University.
During her time as a nurse, Ashley worked in the Emergency Department. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she worked in the Emergency Department and Gastroenterology. After working in those areas, she realized she had a special interest in psychiatry and recognized the significant need for more psychiatric providers.

Ashley has a passion for helping patients improve their mental health. She enjoys providing patients with education and helping them understand treatment options. She recognizes the need for individualized care and spending time getting to know her patients.

Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and traveling as often as possible in her spare time.
